Subject: Split fingers
Message: Hello,
Just had a question about my finger tips.
They crack in the corner of the nail, and they have deep fissures in them. They are very painful, especially in the winter. I keep lotion on them constantly, but it doesn't help as much as I'd like it to. If you have any suggestions I would very much appreciate it.
God Bless, and thanks for this valuable forum. It is a real help to all of us !

Message: if your nails are in water a lot then they are just very dehydrated. you have to be careful and read the ingredients in lotions. mineral oil is absolutely worthless when it comes to truly moisturizing skin. it sits on top and washes right off. you need something that is a water barrier. the product found on this site-natural nails growth formula-has lanolin as an ingredient along with other good ingredients. it's not greasy and you will see a difference when you wash your hands. i could tell you to go buy pricey lotions and look for cuticle oils, but this stuff does such a great job. hard water was a skin drying problem for me. always itching and scratching, but we put a softener in and that was all i needed to stop the itch. you might have hard water.
