We spent 2 months in Florida and my nails were beautiful! A week after returning to Michigan's cold, my nails have all broken off and continue to break as soon as they get a little length. Also, I have ridges going from nailbed to tips of nails. I take vitamins & calcium, zinc, flax oil, and lots of Ibuprofen each day. Also, my cuticles are yucky. Help! Sally

you had 2 months of much needed humidity for your nails and now they are back to reality. i live in western new york and constantly battle dryness in the winter. your nails just need some moisture. we don't always realize how badly we dehydrate them just doing everyday stuff-hand washing being the worst, but necessary to do. the products on this site work wonders. those of us that have "recovered" our nails using them can answer any questions you might have.

Hi, I'm orginally from FL but now live in England and I'm looking for a solution to my nail problems, if you can have found a solution to your problem, I would appreciate it if you can let me know. Five of my nails have ridges in the nailbed area and a little bit yellow. All of them are very thin and want to peel, I've never smoked and haven't had any other nails put on since I've been here.
