Subject: ragged nails question
Message: Barbara, the products arrived today and I've already spent
the 10 minutes massaging it in. My question is this:
because my nail beds are so ragged since the fake nails
have come off, can I use the product after each time I wash
my hands?? I'm concerned about keeping them as
waterproof as possible due to the jagged lines across the
nails but don't want overkill either.....
Comments anybody??

Message: Kristin,
that is a little overkill i would say. this stuff works so well that you'll see you don't need to do it that much-even though you want to! i know, i did too. mine were very jagged and rough also and i don't recommend this for everyone, but buffing them GENTLY with a very high grit buffer worked for me and i had to do something because they were catching on everything, and anything not smoothed out, at that point, was in danger of being bitten. i realize that making them thinner did not help the situation, but i really didn't have a choice. it's a solution that worked for me in the beginning. if you don't feel comfortable doing that then please don't. it's something you have to do very gently and not create a setback for yourself. just remember-time & patience. our nails are very forgiving.

Message: Kristin,
You can help the tissue to recover with rubbing in a bit of vitamin e oil severely times daily, too. It is readily absorbed so it will not leave a greasy residue like so many moisturizers and lotions do. And the added nutrient will never hurt things. But you could use the formula more often if you want to, though I have not found anyone yet that needed to do that....That said, there's a first time for everything! Take care. Talk to you later.
